We had so many submissions to our halloween costume contest and it was REALLY hard to narrow it down. (Like, really hard.) But eventually in life, one must make decisions.
Using a complex algorithm, I've managed to narrow down our judges' choices. Time for the public to decide on our winner! The winner receives special recognition and some goodies from Equal Period.

*Note from costume wearer, Molly, on cultural appropriation vs. cultural expression: “I was born in India but adopted as a baby. I’ve been getting more in touch with my culture and for a Queer Bollywood themed Halloween party to celebrate our culture, I decided to pay honor to the great Ganesh, remover of obstacles. I spent 5 days making the costume with by friend using plaster of paris and love. Hindu gods are sometimes thrown festivals to celebrate them so no I don’t think it’s cultural appropriative given I made it.”
