Where do you like to shop?

My favorite places to shop are Uniqlo, Topman, Gap, Nordstrom Rack, and Scotch and Soda (if my account can handle it!)

What in your wardrobe do you spend the most on?

I would have to say that I spend the most on button downs! With all the different prints and styles available, I honestly can't get enough. With that said, they are a staple in my outfit choice so I always have a few in my office also. I keep my collection versatile so I can use them seamlessly to move from day to night.

Any recommendations for people developing their style on a budget?

On my blog, I really stress the importance of buying within your means and making the best of it. Start with the basics, seriously! I started out with a couple of sale items from Uniqlo (using my employee discount) and worked my way up from there. I'm pretty intentional about buying items with very little branding on them so I can use them as staples. From there, it is easy to mix and match the pieces depending on the look you're going for. As you budget with basics you'll start to realize what's worth splurging for and hopefully be able to afford them!

Any tips on successful deals?

I definitely like to look for outlet stores and off-the-rack stores in my area. I've even been to some good sample sales and I'm a really big fan of a good clearance section, even in higher-end stores! I'll search high and low for a good deal, it's thrilling! I also make sure to subscribe to my favorite brand websites to receive notifications about sales and special promotions. If you want a deal, you'll find one somewhere...trust me!

What's your favorite item in your wardrobe?

My favorite item in my wardrobe is my fall jacket by CPO from Urban Outfitters. Of course I found it in the men's sale section and have been wearing it ever sincerely It's really simple but such a vibrant orange color with brown suede elbow patches. It just gives all of my outfits an extra pop of color!

If you could raid any celebrity's closet, whose would it be?

Anyone who knows me knows that I love me some Jayden Smith! I would raid his closet all day, everyday. His collection of casual looks has always been a favorite of mine and I'm in dire need of a longline shirt to cover these hips...so Jayden, what's up?
