It's finally the height of summer, and festivals and outdoor fun times are in full swing. We've noticed some great new trends for keeping it cool in the heat, so get ready!
Novelty print shirts
I know I've noticed the prevalence of prints like lobsters, Popsicles, burgers and fries, and even the return of the Hawaiian shirt lately. My personal favorite is a sushi print shirt I found at Ragstock. These are usually short sleeved button-ups, so feel free to dress down over a tee or dapper up with some neckwear!
One of the best things we received from the nineties, back in full swing. Crop tops work with pretty much anything, from shorts to skirts to overalls.
Wide brimmed hats
We probably have Beyoncé to thank for this one. Black is by far the most popular and of the moment, but a classic straw or striped hat will keep the sun off and add some punch to your look.
Did I mention the nineties are back? Store all your essentials (sunscreen! sunglasses! bug spray!) around your waist and you'll keep your hands free for snacks, drinks, and hand-holding.
Speaking of waists, welcome your inner grunge kid back with open arms. You'll look great and also have something to keep you warm once the sun goes down.
Dresses that fall without hard tailoring, shirts that are more about the drape than the shape. These are especially great for keeping cool in the heat.
