Blake in Brooks Brothers Part 1: Day to Night

In this three-part series, I'm going to review Brooks Brothers, a brand more often than not associated with the most conservatively dressed preps.

As a former Brooks sales associate I'll feature the classic American styling of the brand. In the first of three featured looks, I'm shifting the paradigm with a “day to night” inspired look.

Where would I be without a navy blazer (or 10…)? I’m loving the contrast of the blazer paired with a sport shirt I’ve had for over a few seasons and a pair of fall 16’ grey trousers. Add in a few details-pop of orange here, green and navy belt there-and this outfit comes full circle. Given my weakness for navy blazers, I’ve taken to finding new ways to pair them with something besides khaki chinos. With a casual look light grey trousers can be just as versatile as a chino. Now, these shoes. Tassel loafers are my loafer of choice, and snuff suede is my shoe color of choice. Together, it’s almost too good to be true (almost).
