School Girl Poet

Chels the poet (http://thepoetsspace.tumblr.com/) has it all: artsy, preppy, and urban.

Chels is a great example of using her environment and props to enhance her outfit, a lot like Miss Hootie Baby. Also, may I commend her for styling on a budget and shopping second hand! All her clothes are from really affordable places.

Sunglasses: bought at Journeys
Blazer: Macy’s
Shirt: Polo Button Up bought at Marhsalls
Tie: Goodwill

Here we have a school girl uniform turned casual via loosely tied tie, sleeves rolled up, and sweet shades. The buttons fit in so nicely with the school girl look, because I’m pretty sure that buttons are the only way one is allowed to distinguish oneself in that environment.
