Spring Out of Hibernation with Light Jackets
So here in Minnesnowta, we are all dying for some warm weather, but it’s definitely not warm enough to go outside coatless. Even in other, warmer places, it starts getting nippy when the sun goes down. Qwear is here to help! I personally have at least four different types of light jackets, and still have a few other styles I am lusting after.
The Classic: Denim Jacket
I don’t actually have one of these, but it is an absolutely classic choice for spring and fall. Can’t go wrong with denim!
The Rebel: Leather Jacket
Again, I don’t have one of these and I’m astounded at myself. There are a lot of different styles of leather jacket out there, but you’re bound to look pretty fly no matter which feels most James Dean to you.
The Neutral Edge: Military Jacket
Military jackets are still totally in and incredibly versatile. Think of it as the alternative denim jacket. It can come in various fabrics and styles as well, but olive is always a good color for that different kind of neutral with a little bit of edge.
The Newcomer: Baseball/Varsity Jacket
This is a piece I’ve seen cropping up everywhere lately, and I just got a baseball jacket from our sponsor Topman, which I will be reviewing soon! It is incredibly versatile and I get tons of compliments. It is very of-the-moment, but also looks vintage in a nice way.
The Update: New Trench Coat
The trench is a classic for Spring, and will get you through all of those April showers, but if you’re looking for something new, there are a lot of cropped and colored options available like this wine-colored one from Topman. Save 15% with the code: QWEAR15TM*
The Warmth: Quilted Jacket
A quilted jacket will block the wind and also give you a bit more warmth than single-layer coats like the denim or the leather jacket. Most have a bit sportier look, and they can have a nice hood for even more coziness.
The Sport: Windbreaker
Windbreakers protect from rain and most weather, and come with lots of awesome colors and graphics.
