TRUECARE CLINIC
9 Palmer Street, Roxbury, MA

Healthcare should be healing—not harmful. For too many LGBTQ+ folks, especially Black and Brown Queer, Trans, and Nonbinary people, walking into a clinic can feel like walking into judgment, neglect, or danger. That’s why TrueCare Clinic at the Multicultural AIDS Coalition (MAC) exists: to provide affirming, accessible, and culturally-rooted care where our identities are seen, our voices are heard, and our health matters.

Located in the heart of Boston, TrueCare Clinic offers comprehensive sexual health services—including HIV/STI testing and treatment, PrEP access, gender-affirming referrals, and wellness navigation—all delivered by staff who reflect and respect the communities they serve. More than a clinic, TrueCare is a safe haven for those navigating health systems not built with us in mind.

At a time when attacks on bodily autonomy and gender expression are rising across the country, TrueCare is doubling down on care that centers Black LGBTQ+ lives, that uplifts joy and prevention, and that reminds us: you deserve to be well, whole, and celebrated.

Why TrueCare Matters

Free & Confidential Services

No insurance? No problem. TrueCare offers confidential, no-cost care, making it easier for everyone to take control of their health

Culturally Rooted Navigation

TrueCare’s team includes Black and Brown health navigators, social workers, and peer leaders who understand the nuances of identity and access.

Holistic Sexual Health Services

TrueCare provides a full range of affirming sexual health care—including HIV/STI testing and treatment, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), and DoxyPEP for STI prevention. With personalized support, TrueCare ensures you have the information and tools to protect your health on your terms.
Pride is Prevention. Care is Resistance.

This Pride, we’re not just celebrating in the streets—we’re taking care of ourselves and each other. That means getting tested, knowing your status, starting PrEP, getting linked to care, or just talking to someone who gets it.

Because nothing says liberation like loving your body enough to protect it. And nothing says community like knowing you’re not alone.

Get Connected. Stay Protected.
